2012 Albariño, Terra Alta Vineyard, Lodi  $18
Albariño is a white wine grape grown predominantly in the Rias Baixas region of  northwest Spain and in northwest Portugal where it is known as Alvarinho.  In California Albariño is grown in various regions, including Lodi, Carneros and the Central Coast.  Albariño makes highly aromatic white wines with bright, zesty acidity.  This wine opens up with a beautiful nose of orange blossom and lemon curd and finishes with bright acidity and citrus flavors of tangerine and lemon zest.  Enjoy with Thai food and other spicy Asian cuisine.

2012 Vermentino, Las Lomas Vineyard, Carneros  $22
Vermentino is a Mediterranean white wine grape found mostly in southern Europe, notably southern France, northern Italy and the islands of Corsica and Sardinia.  The Las Lomas vineyard like much of Carneros experiences morning fog in the summers, warm temperatures in the afternoon with late afternoon and early evening cooling winds from San Pablo Bay.  This Vermentino has a hint of sweetness that is balanced by lively acidity.  You’ll experience aromas of apple blossom and nutmeg with flavors of baked apples.

2011 Tempranillo, Liberty Oaks Vineyard, Lodi  $25
Tempranillo is native to Spain and widely grown in its Rioja and Ribera del Duero regions.  In California, where Tempranillo is growing in popularity, it is grown in areas like Lodi, Carneros and the Sierra Foothills.  The Liberty Oaks Vineyard in Lodi experiences warm to hot summer days and cool nights.  This wine exhibits aromas of dark fruit and baking spices with flavors of blackberry and a hint of vanilla.  Enjoy with pork tenderloin, stuffed peppers and pizza.
